How to make

Air Fryer Apple Turnovers

Simply Air Fryer

What You'll Need

Apple Puff Pastry Sugar Ground Cinnamon  Milk or Egg

First, peel and core an apple. Then cut it into very small pieces. We don't precook them, so smaller pieces ensure they cook in the air fryer.

In a mixing bowl, add the apple pieces, sugar, and cinnamon. Mix everything until evenly coated.

Next, roll out the puff pastry on a work area sprinkled with flour. Cut the dough into quarters. Also, preheat the air fryer to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

Now place some apple filling on one half of each square and fold the dough over so it forms a triangle. Try not to overfill.

Gently press the edges down with a fork to close the turnovers, and brush the top with milk or egg wash to achieve a golden brown finish. Sprinkle sugar on top.

Carefully place the raw turnovers into the air fryer in an even layer, then air fry at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 11-13 minutes, flipping halfway.

Once cooked, remove the apple turnovers from the air fryer and place them on a cooling rack to cool slightly. Then enjoy!
