Air Fryer Chocolate Chip Cookies
These Air Fryer Chocolate Chip Cookies are perfectly soft on the inside, crispy on the outside, and so easy to whip together in a pinch to satisfy those sweet tooth cravings!

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg, at room temperature
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/5 teaspoon salt , (a pinch)
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips, semi-sweet
- 1 teaspoon vanilla bean paste, alternatively vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar with an electric mixer until fluffy.1/2 cup butter, 1/2 cup brown sugar

- Stir in the chocolate chips with a spatula or wooden spoon until evenly distributed. If you have the time, refrigerate the dough for about 30 minutes (recommended, but optional).1/2 cup chocolate chips
- Preheat the air fryer to 320 degrees Fahrenheit for about 5 minutes or until it indicates that it is preheated.
- Line the air fryer basket with parchment paper. Spoon out small portions of dough onto the prepared basket (about 2 inches in diameter). Leave about 1 to 2 inches of space between the cookies. Depending on the size of your air fryer, you may need to bake in batches.
- Air fry at 320 degrees Fahrenheit for 10 minutes or until the cookies are golden around the edges. If the cookies are still too soft, you can flip them over and air fry for another 2 to 3 minutes. The cookies will harden as they cool, so don’t overbake them. The exact cooking time can vary depending on the size of your cookies and your air fryer.
- Remove the baked cookies from the air fryer and allow them to cool for about 15 minutes.
Notes
- For this recipe, we recommend parchment paper. You can either use regular parchment paper that you cut to size or air fryer parchment paper that has holes in it for better air circulation.
- If you have time, refrigerate the dough for about 30 minutes before air frying for best results (recommended, but optional).
- Make sure the cookies are all about the same size so that they cook evenly.
- Don’t overcrowd your air fryer – the cookies will expand during cooking. Cook in batches if needed.
- The exact cooking time may vary noticeably depending on your air fryer. Keep a close eye on the cookies since you don’t want them to burn.
