About Simply Air Fryer
Simply Air Fryer is a resource for all things related to air fryers: recipes, tips, and more. We’re Eric and Lisa (a married couple in our early 30s) and we’re the creators of this website.
Simply Air Fryer is about embracing food and flavor without spending hours in the kitchen. It’s about testing different air fryers and their accessories – and navigating the ever-growing and changing industry around air fryers. It’s about trying new recipes – from donuts to broccoli and everything in between!
We bought our first air fryer (an Instant™ Vortex® 6-Quart) over 3 years ago and have used it over 500 times since then. We are always looking to try new models and experiment with new air fryer recipes. We honestly never thought a kitchen appliance would become such a big part of our lives… but, well, here we are!
You can be sure that every recipe on Simply Air Fryer has been created and tested by us or our trusted team member Yuliia. Below you can learn more about us and the air fryers that make this site a reality!

Lisa Wychopen
Co-Founder, Head Recipe Creator
Lisa is the founder and main recipe developer for Simply Air Fryer. As the author of two successful food blogs (see our sister site Recipes From Europe), she can usually be found measuring ingredients, trying out new combinations, or hiding behind the camera snapping photos of food. With the help of her trusty sidekick (husband), she’s created most of the recipes for Simply Air Fryer.
Eric Wychopen
Co-founder, Head Editor
Both a trusty husband and expert food sampler (he loves to eat air fryer creations), Eric is the co-founder and editor of Simply Air Fryer. His meticulous eye for detail helps Lisa in the creation process, and his writing and editing skills bring the words and the photos of the recipes to life. He knows that after a long photography session (he sometimes holds the bounce card), it’s time to eat whatever has been created!

Yuliia is a recipe developer, food photographer, and general food enthusiast. She is an invaluable member of the Simply Air Fryer team. Originally from Ukraine, she now lives in the UK and uses her air fryer (T-Fal) to experiment and make delicious air fryer recipes for her family.

Vortex is the first air fryer we bought back at the beginning of 2021. Vortex – named after the fact that it is an Instant Pot 6-quart Vortex Air Fryer – has been with us through thick and thin, helping us create over 150 recipes on this website and countless meals in our home. We love Vortex, trust Vortex, and have recommended Vortex to friends and family over and over again.
T-Fal
Assistant Air Fryer
T-Fal is the other main air fryer responsible for the recipes on this website (used by Yuliia). A T-fal Easy Fry 4.2L model, T-Fal has helped Yuliia create over 30 recipes on this website, and countless more in her own home for her family.
Ninja
Apprentice Air Fryer
A relative newcomer to our household, Ninja is the trusty sidekick to Vortex. A Ninja 3.8L Air Fryer, Ninja has helped us test and check recipes for this website and prepare everyday meals when Vortex is already busy doing what it does best.
