Looking for a great summertime dish? Air fryer corn on the cob is definitely a strong contender.
Easy to make and simply seasoned with oil, salt, and pepper, this classic recipe cuts out all the hassle of making corn!
Corn on the cob goes well with grilled summer meats – but it can also be the vegetable side for lots of great lunches or dinners!

Recipe Tips/Substitutions
Before you make corn on the cob in the air fryer, have a quick read through these recipe tips so that you make the best corn on the cob!
- Make sure to shuck/peel and clean the corn really well. It just tastes better without lots of small strings stuck to the cooked corn.
- We recommend coating the corn in a little bit of oil before air frying it, but there is no need to overdo it either! Just a light spray or 1/2 teaspoon of oil per ear of corn will be enough.
- The oil before the air fryer can also negate the need for butter at the end. Of course, you might still want to add butter to the hot corn on the cob – that’s completely fine
- We only add salt and pepper to our corn, but you can change up the spices if you’d like – or skip them completely.
- The corn on the cob is really hot when it’s done so let it cool for a minute o two before consuming.
We use this air fryer for our recipes and it has been great.

First, make sure that your corn is shucked well and as many of the small strings as possible are removed.
Also, make sure that the corn fits into your air fryer. If it doesn’t, you can trim off the ends or cut the corn in half.

Place the ears of corn onto a plate, then rub approximately 1/2 teaspoon of oil onto each ear of corn.
Alternatively, you can lightly spray it with avocado oil spray. Season the corn with salt and pepper to taste.

Preheat the air fryer to 380 degrees Fahrenheit. Once the air fryer is hot, place the corn into the air fryer and cook for approximately 13-15 minutes.

Rotate the corn about halfway through. Since every air fryer is different and the size of the corn is likely to differ, cook time can vary.
For slightly more grilled corn, you can leave it in for an extra minute or so.

Remove the cooked corn from the air fryer and season with more salt and/or pepper, if desired. Serve as a side dish with butter (optional).
Storage Tips
You can store leftover corn on the cob in a sealed container or in tin foil in the fridge. Just make sure to let the corn cool first. It’ll last for a few days but eat it sooner rather than later.
To reheat it, toss the corn on the cob back in the air fryer. The microwave will also work.
