Recipe Tips

Before making air fryer frozen veggie fries, have a quick look through these recipe tips:

  • You don’t need to defrost the veggie fries first. Just add them to the preheated air fryer from frozen.
  • There is (typically) no need to add any oil. Often, frozen veggie fries already contain oil and/or have an outer coating that will help them get crispy. If unsure, check the ingredients on the package.
  • Don’t overcrowd the air fryer – otherwise, the veggie fries might not get crispy.
  • Be gentle when you are air frying these veggie fries. Some of them – like the red beetroot ones – are a little softer than the parsnip ones and more likely to break or lose their shape.
  • Your cooking time might vary slightly because your brand of veggie fries and your air fryer are likely different than ours.

Add the frozen veggie fries to the preheated air fryer.

First, preheat the air fryer to 380 degrees Fahrenheit.

When the air fryer is hot, add the frozen veggie fries. Gently shake the air fryer basket so that the veggie fries are evenly spread out.

A little overlap is fine, but don’t overcrowd the air fryer as this can keep the veggie fries from getting crispy.

When done cooking, remove the veggie fries from the air fryer.

If you want to season them, you can add the veggie fries to a bowl, add your seasonings of choice, and gently toss.

Then serve the fries right away – but be careful because they’ll be hot. Enjoy!

Storage Tips

Once you’ve air fried frozen veggie fries, you’ll want to enjoy them hot and fresh for the best taste.

If you have any leftover veggie fries, you can store them in a sealed container in the fridge.

They will get softer due to moisture so we’d recommend eating them as soon as possible.

To get them slightly crispy again, reheat the veggie fries in the air fryer.
