Have you tried making frozen corn dogs in the air fryer before? Give it a try the next time you’re craving the classic fair food but don’t want to go through the hassle of deep frying it at home.
This perfectly dippable breaded hot dog on a stick comes out hot and crispy in just a few minutes. Serve it with ketchup and/or mustard for the classic taste.

Recipe Tips
- Be sure not to overcrowd the air fryer basket. The corn dogs need space to cook and get crispy on the outside. If you have a smaller air fryer, either make fewer or cook the corn dogs in batches.
- There is no need to add any extra oil or seasonings to these corn dogs – they are typically ready to cook right out of the box.
- Mini corn dogs will cook slightly faster than regular-sized ones.
- The brand we used for this recipe is Pogo (which is pretty popular), but you can find other kinds out there.

Step-by-Step Instructions
It’s really easy to make frozen corn dogs in the air fryer. If you would like to see some visuals, you can have a look at the few process photos in this section.

First, preheat the air fryer to 380 degrees Fahrenheit (195 degrees Celsius).
When the air fryer is hot, add the corn dogs to the air fryer basket in one layer. There should be space between the corn dogs so they can heat and crisp evenly.

Cook the frozen corn dogs for 8-10 minutes for regular-sized corn dogs and slightly less for mini-sized corn dogs until fully heated through and crispy on the outside.
The exact cooking time can vary depending on your air fryer and the brand and size of the corn dogs you use.

When they’re done, remove the corn dogs from the air fryer and serve them with mustard and/or ketchup. Keep in mind that the insides of the corn dog will be very hot. Enjoy!
Storage Tips
Air-fried corn dogs taste best when they are hot and fresh. That’s why we recommend making only as many corn dogs as you will need.
If you do have leftovers, you can store them in a sealed container in the fridge. They will last for up to 3 days – and can be reheated in the air fryer for a few minutes. The microwave is also an option, but it will make the breading soft.

My Pogo is defrost , how long they will need to cook ?
We haven’t made corn dogs once they have been defrosted yet. We’d expect it to take slightly less time than a fully frozen one – so, between 6-8 minutes. But please keep a close eye on them (they might need less time depending on your air fryer) and watch for that golden brown color. Hope that helps!
I pull mine out in morning wrap in paper towels and ziplock bag let thaw during.day in fridge Quicker and crisper when cooked
