Recipe Tips

Before you head off to make air fryer frozen sausage patties, read through these recipe tips so that you know what to expect!

  • Our frozen sausage patties were pre-cooked so we were just heating them and getting the outside a little crispy. If you patties are raw, the cooking time will likely be a few minutes longer. Either way, be sure to cook them thoroughly to an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Since every air fryer and every brand of frozen sausage patties are different, you cooking time might vary slightly.
  • As with other meats that contain a lot of grease, there is a chance of white smoke coming out of your air fryer. To reduce the chance of this happening, start with a clean air fryer. Also stay close by as you cook the sausage patties.

Place the frozen sausage patties into the preheated air fryer.

First, preheat the air fryer to 370 degrees Fahrenheit.

When the air fryer is preheated, add the frozen sausage patties into the air fryer tray. Be sure that the frozen patties do not overlap and are in one even layer. This will help them to cook and crisp evenly.

Storage Tips

Once you have air-fried frozen sausage patties, you can store any that are leftover in a sealed container in the fridge. They will last for 3-4 days like this.

To reheat, we’d recommend the air fryer again but the microwave will work, too.
