Craving something sweet and nostalgic for breakfast? Toaster strudel in the air fryer is a go-to idea!
Made from frozen in just minutes, these classic toaster strudels are hot on the inside – and always fun to decorate with that sweet icing!

Recipe Tips
Before you go and make air fryer toaster strudel, have a quick glance at these tips so that you know what you’re doing!
- Every air fryer cooks slightly differently so your exact cooking time can vary a bit from ours. Just make sure that the filling is actually hot.
- We made toaster strudel with apple filling. The cooking time will be similar for the other fillings (berry, etc.) because the consistency is similar.
- You don’t need to preheat the air fryer first. However, keep in mind that some air fryers get hotter faster than others so keep an eye on your toaster strudels when making them in the air fryer for the first time.
- Don’t overcrowd the air fryer and don’t overlap the toaster strudels.
- Flip the toaster strudels halfway through cooking time so that they heat evenly.
We use this air fryer for our recipes and it has been great.

Place the frozen toaster strudels in the air fryer. There’s no need to preheat.

Air fry the toaster strudels at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 5-7 minutes until fully heated through (the filling needs to be hot and not still frozen) and golden brown on the outside.
Flip the strudel halfway through cooking time. Every air fryer cooks slightly differently, so your exact cooking time can vary a bit.

When done, remove the toaster strudels and add the icing. Enjoy – but be careful, they will be hot!
Storage Tips
We don’t recommend making more toaster strudels than you need because they are best enjoyed hot and fresh.
If you do have a toaster strudel left over, store it in a sealed container and put it in the fridge. However, keep in mind that the moist filling might make the crispy exterior softer.
You could reheat it in the air fryer but no guarantees.. and don’t put the icing on it if you know you’re going to try reheating it later.
