Recipe Tips/Substitutions

Before you saunter over to the kitchen to make air fryer frozen French toast sticks, be sure to read through these recipe tips so that you know what the hell you’re doing:

  • You don’t need to defrost the frozen French toast sticks first nor do you need to spray them with oil before placing them into the air fryer.
  • You can preheat the air fryer but you don’t have to. Ours preheats automatically. If you choose not to preheat yours first, add a minute or two to the cooking time.
  • Some frozen French toast sticks come in large pieces of bread while others come in stick form already. This will not impact cooking time too much – but the thickness of your frozen French toast sticks can.

Storage Tips

Once you air fry frozen French toast sticks, you should enjoy them hot and fresh. However, any leftovers can be stored in a sealed container in the fridge and consumed the next day.

To reheat them, you can choose to microwave them for a few seconds (this might make them a bit soggy) or toss them back in the air fryer for a couple of minutes.
