Air Fryer Peppermint S’mores are the ultimate quick and easy holiday dessert. These gooey, melty s’mores have all the classic tastes with a few seasonal twists.

We love them because they are just as easy to make as regular s’mores in the air fryer – but the peppermint flavor changes them completely and makes them perfect for the festive season!

Ingredients

ingredients to make smores on plates on counter with labels.

Here are the ingredients you’ll need to make these peppermint s’mores:

  • Graham crackers – Use fresh graham crackers for the best taste, but they will get toasted, so you can use slightly stale ones if that’s all you have.
  • Marshmallows – Regular large marshmallows work best. Mini marshmallows can get too messy for this recipe.
  • Peppermint chocolate – For the festive flavor. You can use any peppermint chocolate you like or have available; we use After Eight.
  • Candy cane – Crushed candy cane adds a pop of color and extra peppermint flavor. We recommend it, but you can skip it if you prefer.

Recipe Tips

  • To crush the candy canes, place them in a sealed plastic bag and crush with a rolling pin. Then place the crushed candy cane on a wide plate or in a shallow bowl for easy dipping.
  • Stick the marshmallows to the graham crackers to avoid them from flying around in the air fryer and getting caught in the heating element. You can place two marshmallows on one cracker or one marshmallow half on each cracker. It’s up to you.
  • Watch closely while air frying the marshmallows; they can get too dark very quickly.
  • The candy cane dipping can gett messy. You can wash your hands in between s’mores or just embrace the mess!
  • Adjust the amount of peppermint chocolate or candy cane to taste – a little goes a long way.

Storage Tips

These peppermint s’mores definitely taste best when they’re fresh.

If you do end up with leftovers, store them in a sealed container and reheat the entire s’more in the air fryer at about 320 degrees Fahrenheit for 2-3 minutes the next day.
