Recipe Tips
Before you head off to make air fryer roasted radishes, quickly read through these recipe tips so that you know what to expect!
- Radishes can have quite a bit of dirt on them so make sure to clean them well.
- There is no need to peel the radishes – just trim the top and bottom.
- You can vary the spice blend for the radishes depending on your personal preferences. We like to keep things relatively basic with salt, garlic powder, black pepper and some smoked paprika – but you could also add some cayenne pepper for a bit of a kick.
- The cooking time might vary based on the size of the radishes and your air fryer. Use these times as a guideline and be sure to test your radishes with a fork towards the end of their cooking time.

First, wash the radishes and pat them dry.
Then trim the ends and cut the radishes into halves – or quarters if they are very big.

Now preheat the air fryer to 380 degrees Fahrenheit.
While you wait, place the cut radishes into a mixing bowl. Add in the oil, salt, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and black pepper.

Toss everything until the radishes are evenly coated in oil and spices.

Once preheated, add the radishes into the air fryer.
Make sure they are in one even layer and with little to no overlap. This will help them cook evenly.

Cook the radishes for 13-18 minutes until tender and slightly crispy. They will lose some of their red color – don’t be surprised by that.
Shake the air fryer tray every 5 minutes. The exact cooking time can vary by air fryer and the size of radishes.

When done cooking, remove the radishes from the air fryer and place them in a serving bowl.
You can optionally garnish the dish with chopped parsley. Enjoy!
These radishes taste great as the vegetable side dish with classic dinners – like chicken drumsticks and air fried baby potatoes, etc.
Storage Tips
If you have leftovers, you can place the air-fried radishes in a sealed container and toss it in the fridge.
They’ll last for around 3-4 days like this but they tend to get moist over time so eat them sooner rather than later.
To reheat, you can use the microwave but we’d suggest the air fryer since it will help to draw out some of the moisture!
