Recipe Tips
Before you run off to air fry dino nuggets from frozen, quickly read through these recipe tips so that you know what to expect:
- You don’t need to thaw the dino nuggets before cooking time.
- There’s usually no need to spray the dino nuggets with extra oil. They will crisp up nicely as is.
- Don’t overcrowd the air fryer so that the dino nuggets can get nice and crispy.
- Your cooking time might vary due to the brand of dino nuggets you have, the size, and your air fryer. Just keep an eye on the outside so that they don’t get burnt. The internal temperature should be 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
- These dino nuggets are very similar to how you’d cook any basic frozen chicken nugget in the air fryer – if that helps guide your cooking time.
We use this air fryer for our recipes and it has been great.

First, preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
When hot, add the frozen dino nuggets to the air fryer in one layer. If you can’t fit 10 nuggets without overcrowding the air fryer, be sure to make less.

Air fry the frozen dino nuggets at 400 degrees for 9-10 minutes until fully cooked and crispy on the outside.
Flip the nuggets halfway through the cooking time. Your exact cooking time can vary by brand of dino nuggets and the air fryer you have.
The internal temperature should be 165 degrees Fahrenheit.

When done, remove the dino nuggets from the air fryer and let them stand for 1-2 minutes. Then enjoy them with your favorite dipping sauce!
Storage Tips
Cooked dino nuggets are best enjoyed hot and fresh out of the air fryer. However, if you have leftovers, you can store them in a sealed container in the fridge.
They will last for up to two days but we’d recommend eating them sooner rather than later.
To reheat, we’d recommend the air fryer since the microwave can make them less crispy.
