  • Different veggie burgers are made from different things – some contain beans or soy protein while others are vegetables pressed into patties. As a result, the cooking time can vary slightly – so use our recommendations as guidelines only.
  • There’s usually no need to add any extra oil to frozen veggie patties since they usually already contain some. They will cook and crisp up nicely in the air fryer.
  • There is no need to defrost the veggie burger patties first. Just add the frozen patties to the preheated air fryer.

Storage Tips

Air fried frozen veggie burgers are best enjoyed hot and fresh. However, you can pack any leftover patties into a sealed container and store them in the fridge.

Depending on what exactly the veggie burgers are made of, the inside may get a little bit soft in the fridge so it’s best to eat them sooner rather than later.

We’d recommend reheating them in the air fryer so as to achieve a crispy outer layer again – but there’s no promise that it’ll come back to life like it’s fresh out of the air fryer.
