Want a light and tasty snack that is easy to make? Air fryer radish chips might be for you!
Ready in just a few minutes right from fresh radishes, radish chips in the air fryer are a small chip with mighty texture and flavor!

Recipe Tips
Before you run off to air fry radish chips, read through these recipe tips so that you know what you’re getting yourself into!
- You can use a mandolin (recommended) or a knife to get the radish slices to proper thickness. We’d recommend aiming for a thickness of 1/8 inch. Any thinner and they will be so light that the chips will fly around the air fryer. Of course, you could also buy pre-sliced radishes if you want to.
- We use a few simple spices for our seasoning. Feel free to modify these to suit your personal preferences. If you like things spicy, you could even add a touch of cayenne pepper to the mix!
- Make sure to not overcrowd the air fryer when making the radish chips. This way they get the best chance of crisping up slightly.
- If chips aren’t your thing, you can always just make radishes in the air fryer – they make a nice veggie side dish!
We use this air fryer for our recipes and it has been great.

Wash and dry the radishes. Then cut off the tops and bottoms.

Now slice the radishes with a mandolin or a knife into approximately 1/8 inch thick slices.
We would not recommend slicing the radishes any thinner since they will just fly around in the air fryer – and they shrink up quite a bit anyway.

At this time, preheat your air fryer to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
While you wait, place the radish slices along with oil, salt, garlic powder, and pepper into a mixing bowl.

Gently toss until the radish slices are evenly coated in oil and spices.

Place the radish slices into the preheated air fryer tray in one layer. A little overlap is okay but there shouldn’t be too much.
If your air fryer is quite small, you might have to cook this amount of radish chips in two batches.

Cook the radish chips for 15-20 minutes until slightly crispy.
There is no need to flip them, but check on them every few minutes and move them back into place if they moved around.
The cook time can vary depending on personal preference, the thickness of the slices, and your air fryer.

When done and slightly crispy, remove the radish chips, let them cool for a minute or two – then enjoy!
Storage Tips
Air-fried radish chips are best enjoyed fresh out of the air fryer (having cooled off just a tad). They are easy to eat so you won’t likely have many leftovers.
If you do have some remaining, store them in a container or sealed bag at room temperature and not in the fridge.
The moisture/cold of the fridge will make them very soft. Eat them as soon as possible since they can get soggy even at room temperature.
