For an easy bread-based side, you should try making frozen dinner rolls in the air fryer.

Ready in no time at all and so easy to make, these air fryer frozen dinner rolls are warm and soft on the inside and ready for any dinner dish!

  • Some rolls will have to proof before they go into the air fryer. Read the packaging direction to see if this is the case for the frozen rolls that you bought.
  • The type of frozen roll and your air fryer type might vary the cooking time slightly. Use our recommendations below as guidelines only and adjust cooking time accordingly!
  • You can brush melted butter on top of the buns once they come out of the air fryer but this step is completely optional!

Place the frozen dinner rolls in the air fryer.

First, proof the frozen rolls if required – be sure to read the packaging directions, it will tell you! We made brioche rolls and this step was not necessary.

Preheat the air fryer to 300 degrees Fahrenheit.

When the air fryer is hot, add the frozen dinner rolls into the air fryer tray.

Make sure the dinner rolls are fully heated.

Air fry the frozen dinner rolls at 300 degrees Fahrenheit for 5-8 minutes or until fully heated.

These are guidelines only – the exact cooking time can vary by air fryer and depends on the brand/type of frozen rolls you use.

When done, remove the cooked rolls from the air fryer, brush them with melted butter (optional) and let them sit for a few minutes.

After you air fry frozen dinner rolls, you can store leftovers in a sealed container on the counter to avoid them drying out/going stale.
