Frozen pretzel bites are super easy to make in the air fryer.

Recipe Tips

Before you go make frozen pretzel bites in the air fryer, read through these recipe tips so that you know what to expect.

  • You don’t need to thaw the frozen pretzel bites first nor do you need to spray them with oil before placing them into the air fryer.
  • If you want to add coarse salt, brush the frozen pretzel bites with a little bit of water first before sprinkling the salt on top. This way it will stick to the pretzel bites and won’t fly around in the air fryer.
  • Your cooking time might vary because every air fryer cooks differently and every brand of pretzel bites differ slightly.
  • Be sure to keep an eye on these pretzel bites towards the end of cooking because they can go from perfectly browned on the outside to too dark very quickly!

Make sure the pretzel bites are fully heated through.

Air fry the pretzel bites at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 3-5 minutes until they are fully heated through.

Check on them regularly because you don’t want the outside to get too dark. Exactly how long they will need depends on your air fryer and the brand of frozen pretzel bites.

When done and sufficiently browned, remove the pretzel bites from the air fryer. You can serve them with (melted) butter, mustard, or just as is. Enjoy!

Storage Tips

You should enjoy the pretzel bites while they are fresh since that’s when they taste best. If you do have leftovers, you can store them in a container/paper bag and place them on the counter (not the fridge).

You might find that they are a little moist after some time. To reheat them, you can toss them back in the air fryer – they will dry out and rewarm nicely… but not for too long!
